About the Author

J.R. Williams is an author and veteran journalist with more than 15 years of past experience in newspaper journalism. He earned a bachelor's degree in public relations with a concentration in sociology from N.C. A&T State University. A native son of North Carolina, he now resides in Baltimore, Md. Drawing on his background in journalism and sociology, he examines the social forces shaping modern relationships. His debut book, The Death of Courtship: How Modern Dating Lost Its Way and How to Find Love Anyway, challenges conventional thinking about dating, attraction and the evolving dynamics between men and women in America.
